The faculty member will have a leadership role in the Department of Public Health and Community Service. The position will involve administration and growth of the Department’s postgraduate training programs, with an emphasis on developing the dental public health curriculum.  In addition, the faculty member will direct two epidemiology courses (one at the predoctoral level and one at the postdoctoral level), engage in research and scholarly activities, and public health/community outreach. Experience with grant administration will be considered a plus.

Qualifications

Requirements include a DMD/DDS or equivalent foreign dental degree, Ph.D degree or equivalent doctoral degree in Epidemiology from an accredited School of Public Health in the United States, and ABDPH board certification in the specialty of dental public health.
