West Virginia University School of Dentistry is seeking applications for a full-time faculty position at the Assistant/Associate Professor levels in the Department of Restorative Dentistry. Candidates for the Associate rank must have an outstanding record of teaching, research and service. Responsibilities include pre-doctoral didactic and clinical teaching in general dentistry, prosthodontics and treatment planning. This will be a clinical track position. Expectations include teaching in a comprehensive-care, patient-centered student practice, participation in intramural faculty practice, scholarly activity/research and service. Candidates must have a DDS or DMD degree from an accredited US or Canadian dental school or, if foreign trained, possess a specialty degree/certificate from an accredited United States or Canadian specialty program, and be eligible for a West Virginia dental license by the time of appointment. The Department of Restorative Dentistry currently includes the disciplines of operative dentistry, prosthodontics (fixed, removable, and implant prosthodontics) and dental materials.
