SIUE is nationally recognized by U.S. News & World Report as one of the top 15 public regional Midwestern universities and by Washington Monthly as among the top 60 out of 634 private and public master’s universities nationally.
SIUE is fully certified at the Division I level by the NCAA and as a member of the Ohio Valley Conference, the Missouri Valley Conference (men’s soccer) and the Southern Conference (wrestling).
