    Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) School of Dentistry Department of Oral and Craniofacial Sciences Division of Orthodontics is seeking an Assistant/Associate Professor. This is a full-time 1.0 FTE, tenure track eligible position. This position is under the direct supervision of the chair of the Department of Oral and Craniofacial Sciences. Primary responsibilities include administrative duties as Program Director of the Predoctoral Orthodontic Program, clinical teaching at pre- and post-doctoral levels, and oversight of the pre-doctoral clinic rotations. Other activities may include academic program advising, specific and general scholarly projects, professionally related public service, departmental and institutional administrative activities, student support service activities, course and curriculum planning, and research and development. *Please apply online at www.ohsujobs.com, then search using 2025-35294.

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:



    • Dental degree (DDS/DMD) from a CODA accredited school

    • Completion of a CODA accredited post-doctoral program in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics

    • PhD degree and/or MS degree

    • Eligible for licensure in Oregon

    • BLS or ACLS certification from the American Heart Association

    • Experience in teaching, research, service, patient care, and academic management, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills


     


    PREFERRED QUALIFICATION:



    • American Board of Orthodontics certification
