Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor (Head & Neck Microvascular Surgeon)

The University of Michigan School of Dentistry is seeking applications for a full-time clinical track faculty position at the Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor level within the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with experience and credentials.
Responsibilities will include direct patient care, predoctoral and postdoctoral didactic and clinical teaching, scholarly activity, and engagement in university service at the department, school and university levels. Clinical care may include, but is not limited to, head and neck oncology and microvascular surgery. The ideal candidate should have excellent clinical and interpersonal skills, be passionate about surgical education, and have an interest in leadership opportunities.
Required qualifications include a DDS/DMD or equivalent degree, board eligibility/certification in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and successful completion of a fellowship training program in oral/head and neck oncology and microvascular reconstructive surgery. Candidates should also be eligible to acquire a full/unrestricted license to practice dentistry in the state of Michigan.
