    The Department of Comprehensive Dentistry at The Texas A&M College of Dentistry invites applications for one full-time tenure/non-tenure track position with an 11 month academic appointment beginning fall semester 2020. Applicants will be considered for the tiles of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Clinical Assistant Professor or Clinical Associate Professor depending on qualifications. Responsibilities include coordinating clinical activity, supervising patient care, participating in undergraduate didactic and clinical teaching, evaluation of dental students’ professionalism, clinical progress, and performance, as well as counseling students regularly. Interested individuals should have a strong commitment to teaching, research and service. The opportunity for extramural private practice is available.
    Applicants interested in the tenure track position will also be expected to publish in leading research journals, obtain external research funding as well as demonstrate a record of accomplishment in research and external grant funding.

    All final candidates will be required to successfully pass a criminal background check prior to beginning employment.

    Salary and academic rank will be commensurate with the qualifications and experience of the selected applicant.

    Candidate must have a DDS, DMD or advanced degree from a U.S. or accredited dental school and be eligible for licensure in Texas. Candidate should be familiar with current dental technology.
