Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) School of Dentistry Department of Orthodontics is seeking an Assistant/Associate Professor. This is a full-time 1.0 FTE, tenure track eligible position. This position is under the direct supervision of the chair of the Department of Orthodontics. Responsibilities include didactic, pre-clinical, and clinical teaching at pre- and post-doctoral levels; research; and professionally related service. Other activities may include academic program advising, specific and general scholarly projects, departmental and institutional administrative activities, student support service activities, course and curriculum planning, and patient care. Dental degree (DDS/DMD) from a CODA accredited school
Completion of a CODA accredited post-doctoral program in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics
PhD degree and/or MS degree
Eligible for licensure in Oregon
BLS or ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
Experience in teaching, research, service, patient care, and academic management, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills
American Board of Orthodontics certification
