The University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry is accepting applications for a faculty position as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Division of Oral Diagnosis and Radiology, Department of Diagnostic and Preventive Sciences. It will be a non-tenure track, 4-day per week appointment. Under the supervision of the Division Head of Oral Diagnosis and Radiology, and working directly with Oral Diagnosis faculty, the Clinical Assistant Professor will be mainly responsible for the clinical instruction in the Oral Diagnosis Clinic which involves patient assessment as part of Oral Diagnosis work-ups and also evaluation of clinical skills of pre-doctoral students and dental hygiene students for clinical procedures. Other responsibilities include some assigned didactic teaching, student advisement and mentoring, committee assignments, service activities, and professional development.
Required Qualifications:
- Applicants must possess a dental degree (DDS, DMD, or equivalent)
- Licensed to practice in the State of Oklahoma or be qualified to obtain licensure in Oklahoma
- Possess knowledge of current concepts in general dentistry and clinical practice.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of clinical practice experience
- Experience with oral medicine practice and/or TMD
