Duties and Responsibilities
The individual will be responsible for teaching predoctoral dental students and post-graduate students in the Advanced Education Program in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. Teaching will involve didactic courses, and direct supervision of patient care. Administrative responsibilities include participation in committee assignment and eventual directorship of predoctoral courses as teaching development progresses.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Earned doctorate or a terminal degree. Demonstrated potential for teaching excellence and high quality research.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
DDS/DMD degree and educational qualifications for specialty board in Orthodontics required. Applicants must hold valid dental license in some state or jurisdiction.
