Overview
This is a part-time position working 17.5 hours per week. This is a grant funded position and is not eligible for severance pay.

Its activities serve to model for future dentists, understanding of the interplay among individuals, caregivers, and healthcare provider groups. DPHCS offers extensive outreach programs, bringing prevention education and access to quality services to patients in need of dental care.


What You'll Do
This position will be grant funded under Assistance Number 93.137 for Community Program to Improve Minority Health for PI Dr. Holland’s grant Promoting Equitable Access to Language Services in Oral Health.

Under direction of the PI, the Project Administrator (PA) will be responsible for the day-to-day study operations and quality assurance. They will assist with scheduling, coordinating and organizing all program activities between the project team and collaborators including but not limited to: dual role interpreter visits, interpreter shadow program appointments, community information sessions, pre- and post-interpreter and patient surveys, tracking payments for dual role interpreters, taking meeting minutes and additional programmatic responsibilities designated by the PI. Other responsibilities include tracking and monitoring program data for progress reporting and performance outcome measurement with the evaluation specialist. They will work closely with the PI, study team, consultants and community partners/FQHCs.


The project administrator provides specialized, subject matter knowledge to develop, implement, review and evaluate a university Program or Project in collaboration with Manager or Director; participates in development of goals and strategies; creates data management and filing systems; analyzes and monitors budgets and contracts; and participates in development and implements marketing and advertising efforts; may design and represent program externally at conferences, meetings, and events; assists with research protocols and drafts reports and results; may oversee recruitment and management of study participants; may provide advice and counseling to students; coordinates hiring and training of staff and students.


What We're Looking For
Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related discipline and 3+ years of related experience OR Master’s degree and 1-2 years related experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in related discipline and 3+ years of experience in related field of study
