Overview
The Pediatric Dentistry Clinic provides dental treatment for patients through the age of 18. Patients can be treated through the Pediatric Post Graduate Residency Program as well as by 3rd and 4th year dental students who rotate through the clinic throughout the year. The clinic does have the capability of treating patients under oral sedation; nitrous oxide gas; and general anesthesia at two affiliated hospitals.
What You'll Do
Under limited supervision, the Patient Registration Coordinator provides excellent customer service, greets patients, inputs and/or verifies patient information, enters approved patient treatment plans, responds to patient inquiries and schedules and confirms patient appointments to maximize clinic space. Performs financial functions (collects payment, makes adjustments to patient accounts) and provides administrative support. Performs other related duties to assist in the management of the department. Provides leadership to fellow staff members.
What We're Looking For
Basic Requirements:
- High School degree/equivalency and 3-5 years of job related experience.
- In depth knowledge of dental/medical software, codes, Microsoft Office and dental terminology.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Admissions experience in higher Ed, customer service, alumni relations, previous recruitment experience.
