The University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, Eastman Institute for Oral Health, invites nominations and applications for the position of Director for Interdisciplinary Care.
In an effort to advance an environment that integrates oral health and primary care, EIOH is seeking a candidate for Director for Interdisciplinary Care. Candidate will participate in graduate dental education, perform research in oral and medical sciences, and will be responsible for administrative oversight for all Interdisciplinary and Special Needs clinical programs. The Division has a close working relationship with the School of Medicine and Dentistry’s Department of Pediatrics, the Golisano Children’s Hospital, Strong Center for Developmental Disabilities, Neuroscience, the Center for Oral Biology, and the School of Nursing.
Nominees and applicants should possess a DDS, DMD or equivalent degree with a license to practice in NY State. Preference will be given to individuals with a demonstrated ability to build strong collaborations involving interdisciplinary and/or special needs programs, and furthering interprofessionalism.
Nominees and applicants should demonstrate scholarly distinction appropriate for appointment at the Associate or Full-Professor level. The University offers a significant compensation package commensurate with qualifications of the appointee and includes the opportunity to join the Medical Center dental faculty group practice.
