Job Purpose

​The College of Dental Medicine at the University of Sharjah is seeking a well-qualified candidate for a full-time Assistant Professor position in Restorative Dentistry. 

Main accountabilities & expectations

1. It is essential that the appointee has extensive experience in digital dentistry.
2. The appointee will be responsible for delivering didactic, laboratory, and clinical training to students in Operative Dentistry, along with Dental Materials. 
3. Additionally, they will contribute to the ongoing development of this discipline within the undergraduate/postgraduate curriculum.
4. The applicant should have a demonstrated track record as a researcher.
5. The successful candidate is expected to provide clinical services in the Centre of Excellence under the governance of University of Sharjah. 

Required Skills

• BDS or DDS degree and PhD.
• At least 3-year structured clinical training, Masters in Dental Surgery (MDS)/ fellowship or board certification in the area of specialization from a recognized authority.
• Experience in undergraduate teaching and clinical supervision.
• Applicant must hold a valid full dental licence in the area of specialization.
• Applicant must be eligible for specialist UAE Ministry of Health dental license.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English language.
