The University of Kentucky College of Dentistry is seeking applications for Assistant, Associate or Professor in the Division of Prosthodontics. This is a full time, 12-month assignment period, Special Title Series, tenure track eligible position at the rank of Assistant, Associate or Professor. The primary responsibility is to execute instructional activities in support of the College of
Dentistry’s education mission. Specific responsibilities include:
1. Provide instruction in prosthodontic courses offered in the UKCD curriculum clinical courses.
2. Spends variable time with dental residents from the various advanced education programs in a consultant role.
3. Provides academic and personal advising for multiple student dentists.
4. Participates in educational or research activities pertinent to the teaching or practice of Prosthodontics or multidisciplinary research relevant to Prosthodontics. Results should be published in professional publications.
5. Maintains proficiency in Prosthodontics by participating in direct patient care activities and by providing consultations for internal and external constituencies.
6. Participates in the prosthodontic professional organizations.
7. Participates in professional continuing education programs as required for re-licensure.
8. Serves on departmental, College, Medical Center and University committees as assigned.
