The University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine (UPSDM) is seeking applications for the non-tenure track position of Assistant or Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry. Responsibilities include: course development and teaching in both the pre-doctoral and graduate pediatric dentistry programs, participation in departmental activities, mentoring research at the graduate level, service, and continuing education. Preference will be given to candidates who have evidence of high-quality scholarly activity, prior teaching experience, and prior research experience; optional participation in University Dental Health Services; and performance of administrative responsibilities.
Candidates should have a DMD/DDS degree, an advanced training certificate in pediatric dentistry from an ADA accredited school, and possess or be able to obtain an appropriate license for clinical practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Preference will be given to those with additional training, experience, and Board Certification from the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
