The University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine (UPSDM) is accepting applications for a full-time, non-tenure stream faculty position in the Department of Prosthodontics. The faculty rank of assistant or associate professor will depend on experience and qualifications.
The primary responsibility of this position would be to serve as a full time Maxillofacial Prosthodontist at the School of Dental Medicine and the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC). Other responsibilities include didactic and clinical instruction of dental students and residents, scholarly activities, and service. Optional participation in University Dental Health Services faculty practice is also available.
Applicants must have a DDS or DMD degree from an ADA accredited school, a Certificate in Prosthodontics, and a Certificate in Maxillofacial Prosthodontics. The applicant must be eligible for a Pennsylvania dental license. Preference will be given to those with additional training, experience, and Board Certification from the American Board of Prosthodontists.
