The University of Kentucky is seeking faculty applicants for the Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology. The successful candidate will help to maintain and advance the division’s stellar reputation and critical role in education, service, and research, as well as be innovative in his/her approach to new methods of educating students and residents. In addition, the successful candidate must have the training and talent to handle the clinical and microscopic diagnosis of a wide range of pathologic conditions affecting the head and neck, and the ability and strong desire to teach.
Qualified applicants must have a DDS/DMD from a program accredited by the Commission of Dental Accreditation, successful completion of a residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Pathology from a CODA-accredited program, and Diplomate status of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Pathology. In addition, the applicant must qualify for an unrestricted Kentucky dental license and must be actively involved in a biopsy service that receives greater than 5,000 specimens per year. Salary and rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
