The Professor/Associate Professor in Periodontology is a member of the School of Dentistry and Oral Health’s academic team. The position is aimed at clinicians with qualifications to specifically provide didactic and clinical learning and teaching services in periodontology with an emphasis on implantology which meet the expectations of the School of Dentistry and Oral Health, in accordance with University policies and standards of service and quality.
This is a continuing, full time position based at the Gold Coast campus. Griffith is a multi-campus university and therefore it is understood that this position will work across campuses as required.
The successful applicant will provide effective teaching and course administration in the School’s undergraduate and post-graduate periodontology and implantology courses, particularly in the School’s DClinDent (Periodontology) and MClinDent (Implantology) programs. You will actively contribute towards School research outputs and have involvement in professional activities in the wider community.
A salary package that includes a base Professor salary of $179,288 per annum, and an employer superannuation contribution of 17% of base salary will be offered.
A salary package that includes a base Associate Professor salary of $139,183 – $153,337 per annum, and an employer superannuation contribution of 17% of base salary will be offered.
Attractive salary packaging arrangements are also available.
