Tufts University School of Dental Medicine seeks candidates for a full-time position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor in the Department of Orthodontics. The position will encompass both predoctoral and postgraduate orthodontic clinical and didactic teaching.

Qualifications

Requirements include a DDS/DMD degree or equivalent and an advanced education certificate in Orthodontics from an ADA-accredited school.  Board certification by the American Board of Orthodontics is preferred as is research training (M.S. and/or Ph.D.) and an interest/experience in the clinical and didactic management of patients with Cleft Lip and Palate and Craniofacial Anomalies. An opportunity for private practice exists for qualified candidates. There is also an opportunity to pursue faculty DMD for qualified candidates after two years of initial appointment. Salary and academic rank will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
