2 Open-Rank Faculty Positions
The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Adams School of Dentistry seeks a Full Time Fixed-Term or Tenure-Track leader at the rank of either Assistant or Associate Professor in the Division of Comprehensive Oral Health, Discipline of Prosthodontics. The faculty member will provide didactic and clinical instruction as well as evaluation of pre-doctoral dental students in removable and fixed prosthodontics, implants, and esthetic dentistry, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and restorative dentistry. These positions offer outstanding opportunities for intramural practice, scholarly activities, continuing education and professional service. Successful applicants should have the ability to establish a robust intramural practice with The UNC Adams School of Dentistry’s Dental Faculty Practice.
Educational Requirements: Candidates must have a DDS or equivalent degree.
A certificate from a post-graduate prosthodontic program, preferably CODA-accredited.
Qualifications and Experience: Excellent clinical credentials, teaching, scholarly activity and dental implant experience are required. This person should have experience in organizational and interpersonal skills, leadership, and a commitment to diversity, inclusivity and collegiality.
Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics or Board Eligibility is preferred.
